Today people of faith across the country are raising our voices as part of Bread for the World’s Day of Action with one key message for lawmakers: We believe it’s possible to end hunger in our lifetime.

Right now, hundreds of advocates are on Capitol Hill as part of Bread for the World’s 2026 Advocacy Summit asking Congress to fully fund and strengthen SNAP, WIC, and global nutrition and health programs. These programs provide critical food and health resources to children and families in the U.S. and in every corner of the world.
