The House of Representative has just passed legislation to expand the Child Tax Credit (CTC). It now moves to the Senate, which could vote as soon as this week. The Senate’s passage of the legislation is not a sure thing, and your senators need to hear from you today.
The legislation would expand the CTC so that more lower income children and families receive the full credit. The proposal prioritizes children whose families currently receive only a partial credit or no credit at all because their incomes are too low – approximately 16 million children will benefit from the expansion.
Urge your senators to vote YES on the expanded Child Tax Credit.
